Care & Service

Made to last.
Kept with care.

A mechanical watch asks for very little: a little attention, sensible habits and a service every few years. This guide covers everything in between.

  1. 01

    Storage

Keep your watch in its presentation chest or a soft pouch when you are not wearing it. Avoid leaving it near strong magnets — speakers, tablet covers, magnetic clasps or induction hobs — which can affect timekeeping.

  2. 02

    Water resistance

Origin, Dune and Nocturne are rated to 50 m (5 bar): rain, splashes and hand-washing are fine, but swimming is not recommended. Nile, Astra and Limestone are rated to 100 m (10 bar) and suit swimming, though not diving.

Never operate the crown when wet, and avoid hot showers or saunas: heat and sudden temperature changes stress the seals. Water resistance is not permanent and should be checked at every service.

  3. 03

    Cleaning

Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft, dry microfibre cloth. On 100 m models the bracelet can be rinsed in lukewarm fresh water with the crown pushed fully home, then dried thoroughly. Avoid solvents, perfume and abrasive cloths on the polished surfaces.

  4. 04

    Everyday handling

An automatic watch winds itself as you wear it. If it has stopped, give the crown 20–30 gentle turns before setting the time. Avoid changing the date between 21:00 and 03:00, when the date mechanism is engaged. Remove your watch for high-impact sports.

  5. 05

    Warranty & servicing

2-year NETERA limited warranty covering manufacturing defects (demo policy). As with most mechanical watches, we recommend a full service every 5 years, or sooner if timekeeping changes noticeably or moisture appears under the crystal.

This is a demonstration site: the warranty and service described here are illustrative and cannot actually be provided.
